Some fans weren't happy about the sound quality at tonight's Bruce Springsteen gig

Some fans reported leaving the concert early due to the sound issues.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN ROCKED out Croke Park this evening to a huge crowd of over 80,000 people.

However, there were multiple complaints over the sound quality at the gig – with fans expressing their anger and frustration at not being properly able to hear the show.

Some fans reported leaving the concert early due to the sound issues.

Stand sound issues

It appears as though the reports of sound issues (gathered from tweets of fans at the venue) seem to stem from the stands of Croke Park and the premium level seats.

Fingal County Councillor Darragh Butler earlier said that the sound in the Upper Hogan stand was “appalling”.

However, after the gig had finished he said the sound had improved later on.

Meanwhile, there are reports that the sound from the Davin stand was also poor.

In general, there are multiple reports of poor sound quality at the gig – with fans commending The Boss’s performance, but complaining that they couldn’t hear anything.

Sound at standing level

Journal.ie reporter attending the concert said that the sound levels on the pitch were consistently good throughout the gig – with no issues to report.

The complaints of sound quality seem confined to the stands in the stadium.

While there have been multiple complaints from attendees at the concert over the poor sound quality, there have been many reports of people enjoying the gig.

Springsteen came onstage at about 7.30pm and played for about three hours.

TheJournal.ie has contacted Aiken Promotions for comment over people’s complaints.
